Just one week until the Big Green Weekend (29 & 30 June)! Previously called ‘Green Open Doors’ and organised by New Forest National Park Authority

New events and properties have been added! Including:
Minstead Study Centre will be open for pleasant strolls through the grounds and volunteers on hand to answer your questions (Saturday 10am-3pm)
Testwood Lakes Nature Reserve will be opening four areas for you to meet volunteers and find out more about what they do (Saturday 1-4pm)
The Countryside Education Trust is running a sustainability workshop with some simple steps to reduce your carbon footprint (Saturday 10am-3pm)

So, what’s it all about?

Property owners and organisations in and around the National Park are opening their doors and gardens for a weekend to inspire others to follow in their footsteps.

Find out more about electric vehicles, solar power, biomass boilers, rainwater harvesting, growing your own veg, wildlife-friendly gardens and free waste and water devices.
