Get Involved

There has never been a better time to get involved with your local Green Party. Get involved today in one of many ways!

Join the Green Party

As a member, you can help support the only party dedicated to fighting for our environment and ensuring we live in a fair and just society. Register to be a member by visiting join.greenparty.org.uk

If you live within the parliamentary constituencies of New Forest West or New Forest East, then as a national member you will automatically become part of the New Forest Green Party.

Contact the Membership Secretary on the Contact page for more information.

Help with Election Campaigns

We have several Green Party Parish Councillors in the New Forest District. We stand Parliamentary candidates in General Elections for both New Forest East and New Forest West constituencies.

We stand candidates in Hampshire County Council elections, typically standing in all 10 County Council divisions within the New Forest district. We stand candidates in New Forest District Council elections.

In recent elections we have significantly improved the number of Green Party votes received.

A Green Party councillor brings fresh ideas and will put people and planet before profit. We want to represent the real interests of the local people and protect the environment. It is essential to bring this voice to the councils.

Stand for Council

We are keen to have the green perspective on the New Forest District Council and Hampshire County Council.

Support & Volunteering

If you’d like to support our work and not join as a member, that’s absolutely okay! Get in touch with the Coordinator on the Contact page, and get involved in our campaigning work.

It could be as simple as speaking with your neighbours about their concerns and feed these back to us to further our understanding OR dropping off leaflets in your local neighbourhood.

Alternatively, it could involve campaigning with other members and local community groups on local and national green issues.

Come to our next meeting

We hold regular meetings, in person or Zoom meetings. If you’re interested in green issues, come to our next meeting. Contact the Coordinator on the Contact page.
