In Sally’s own words…
I am 63 years of age and have lived in Pennington, Hampshire since 1979. A large part of my life before that in nearby Lymington. I have one son and a granddaughter studying at Brockenhurst College.
I have a strong sense of justice and fairness and equally respect both humans and animals. I am passionate about preserving the environment, our green spaces and their wildlife, clean energy and education about healthy food choices and compassionate living.
For the past 35 years I have organised many, many fundraising events and for five years, from 2001, ran a local group for Compassion in World Farming.
In 2011 I was voted onto Lymington and Pennington Town Council as a Green councillor and ever since have been trying to educate and influence people about green issues. I am joint coordinator for New Forest FoE and for the past ten years have also been treasurer for the Pennington Residents Association. I engage in organising regular community litter picks.
My interests include writing, reading, pottery, art and the wildlife in my garden.
