New Forest, UK – 04 November 2023 – In the wake of the recent water supply crisis still impacting around 13,000 homes due to Storm Ciarán, having initially caused loss of supply to over 18,000 homes, the New Forest Green Party is calling for urgent action to address the continuous problems plaguing our water systems, including persistent water quality issues and regular sewage discharges. The party firmly believes that the nationalisation of water companies is a necessary step towards resolving these enduring issues and ensuring the provision of clean and reliable water for all.
